Mr Potter
 You're quite right Brian, Hodnet can be deceptive but today we as a group (well me certainly) were just poor. In my case there was only one target I never found (distant L to R crosser on Stand 2) but like the rest of my squad we collectively struggled to straighten stands, twice the boy (SoP) missed his last pair, on two stands I missed one of the last pair, in fact the only stand I straitened was the last stand we shot, stand 1 (rabbit). So I don't think the course beat us I think we let the course win!! Well it hasn't put me off, we'll be back at Hodnet in March for the Cheshire Shield and, weather permitting, Shugborough & Kegworth this weekend. It's primarily a comp between the police forces, but guest shooters are welcome, though there aren't many prizes for guests. Usual great shoot though. Can't remember the exact date in March, but it'll get posted on here sooner or later. Edited December 30, 2010 by Chard
