dickbmw
Does anyone have any views on the BoreSnake cleaning system - I am thinking of buying one in .22 for my target and rimfire rifles. Your experiences would be appreciated, also also best place to buy if they are worth buying! Cheers Richard Edited January 30, 2006 by dickbmw

plexer
I use one in my 12bore and thats all I use to clean the barrels always nice and shiny afterwards. Ben
gibby
They do get the barrels clean, or so it looks. The snake gets completly coated with the **** you are trying to get rid off, so every time you pass the snake through all your doing passing the dirt through again. Nildes
I think they're good. The larger bore sizes are better. I struggled to pull through on my

TJW
Use one on the 12-bores and another (strangely enough) on the 0.22 airrifles. Great bits of kit, wash them in the sink with a bit of washing up liquid, come up like new. Not expensive, like most here I can't remember the cost... ATB Toby... ragerat
Bought my 12g one 3 years ago. I've since bought a .410 one and have sold all my old cleaning kit. They're fantastic. When they get a bit grungy, wash 'em out in warm water and washing powder, rinse well, dry on the radiator and they're as good as new.
