Gordon R
Let's hope the Police aren't reading this. You have a choice between speeding or driving without due care and attention.
debaser
Let's hope the Police aren't reading this. You have a choice between speeding or driving without due care and attention. How is that driving without due care? Anyway back on topic, if you slowed down for the second and the average speed was low enough you should be ok. leeds chimp
it takes the time you entered and compares to the time you left the 2nd so could do 90 then slow to say 50 and takes the average over the distance

death from below
You'll get your answer within the next 14 days mate - nothing in 2 weeks means no, they weren't working (or you weren't speeding enough)- as for signage, as long as there is some sort of sign (which there def will be as it is contracted into any sort of road work contract, then you'll do well to use that as an outer. I reckon truckers must have some sort of mystical knowledge on this subject - I've been through a fair dew average speed camera zones and in some the trucks stick to the speed but in others they seem to hair **** it through the road works (I'm not including the foreign truck drivers as they don't seem to stick to whatever speed where ever they are). So come on any truckers out ther, what's the secret.
Jega
Put you mind at rest buddy NONE of the cameras are working yet on either the east or west bound carriageways and slip roads. I drive on this motorway everyday from Scunny to Immingham and i noticed this morning signs saying "Cameras not in Use" so you should be o.k. -oXo-
We have a load of those on the A149 between Stalham and Potter Heigham. Put up months ago now and the local parish council had a party to celebrate turning them on. Only thing is they still havn't been turned on because on some legal issue. They were funded by the local parish council using our tax money. Nice to know we got a say in it. Edited November 8, 2010 by -oXo-
