reddeer 40
Went out this morning because it was the first windy day for weeks. No rain and a strong wind, I was very hopefull. Decided to try it on a cabbage feeld, next to a small strip of maize. The cabbage was planted after harvesting the wheat this summer. I think it is used as a furtilizer, gives good cover for the game, and after the frost of the last weeks it is laying down, and the pigeons started to love it. Used the magnet & 24 deeks. Horseshoe pattern in front of me as the wind was in my back. After unpacking I tried to park my car an end further and was unlucky that it slides away in some water. Unable to get out. Never mind, would ring somebody after the shooting. It started good, the pigeons came very good into the pattern and I did some nice shots, after 1 1/2 hour it was over, no pigeon anymore. Ended up with 23 for 44 shots, what is good for me. Had 3 doubles. Tried to get my car out with another 4x4, no way! Had to ring the garage, and after a lot of trouble they got it out. lurcherboy
You just want a decent set of tyres on that motor Reddeer. Good shotting BTW :( LB
reddeer 40
It is a Dodge Ram 5.9 V8, and it is **** for fieldwork. The tyres are half terrain because I'm doing 40.000km p/year. Doing that on field tyres is nuts. Anyway it gives me a lot of comfort & space to put al my gear & tackle in.
