Aled
Dropped my children off at creche this morning, noticed that a chap had driven his vehicle too far and was stuck over a ledge (not a dangerous height) and needed a tow, "let me drop off children i'll give you a hand". Towed him out, he offered me money for a pint, no thanks i said, just do the same if you see somebody else in the same situation. I wished him well, and got in the car, he asked, "ti'n hoffi saethu?" (do you like shooting in Welsh) Ydw (yes) i said) He's got two very large farms close by, and is a neighbour to a bit of other permission i have! Vey nice result from helping somebody in need! Aled
nice one, bloody Welsh people though just making sure you weren't English before giving you the ok Ah now, the whole conversation had been in Welsh from the moment i'd said i'd help, if you see a farmer type of person in my neck of Wales, there's a 99% chance their first language is Welsh, mind i have been caught out before when seeking permission! Happy days, now need the snow to ease to get some time to have a mooch Cheers Aled
