Farmer-of-the-Futre
Hey lads, ive been using my 20 bore side by side for a year now and it seems a bit small for me.. This does not mean i am going to stop using it but it would be great to have a 3-shot and somehting with more punch. We have got 4 other 12 bore bores but one is a horrible single barrel one side by side is literally falling to bits and the other 2 are my dads (one is the silver pigeon wich he would use) so does anyone have any suggestions for a half decent and half cheap semi.. around the £400 mark? i know its cheap but would i be able to get a nice second-hand one for that? thanks in advance
coneyhunter
h ithere, i own a webley 812 in composite and its a good gun, takes all loads up to 3", my only issue with it being the fiddly ejection mechanism when you want to unload the gun and they can be quite awkward to put back togehter after cleaning. I paid £400 new for it. The Hatsan Escorts seem to be a popular budget choice, however i have never shot one so cannot pass judgement. Daveo26
Beretta A303s possibly an older AL391 are good guns and the 303s are definatly in your price range. Remmie 1100s are also available but iv found they tend to jam a fair bit and need keeping really clean, pretty old school but some people love them. What about a Baikal mp153? if you can find a secondhand one? Have a look on guntrader you can search just for semi autos and put an upper limit on price
spiceychilli57
Do a search on here for hatsan escort auto. They are about that figure brand new quite a few people have them but there are a few people that have had problems with the early ones The other option is a second hand gun, preferably a beretta or remington maybe. A good example will hold its value better than a brand new hatsan old quality is better than new cr*p in my opinion but as i said people have been quite happy with the hatsan Have a go if you can before you part with the cash Good luck with the search Spicer
