Scully
That's a proper lamoing rifle, but not in 9mm though.Very nice. Was handling an AR15 in .223 not so long ago....beautiful.

Oxon88
I used to have a southern gun company v-22, that was fun. Is this a straight pull?
SilentKill
Yep straight pull semi!
Breastman
I used to have a southern gun company v-22, that was fun. Is this a straight pull? Yep straight pull semi! Nope! Its a brand new operating mechanism which has been called 'Lever Release Action'. 1/ Insert mag 2/ Pull back on cocking handle to lock back bolt 3/ Press release lever where the safety normally is (Theres a safety on the other side) 4/ This releases the bolt and chambers a round 5/ Pull trigger 6/ Bolt blows back like a semi-auto and ejects the spent case BUT to make it S1; 7/ Bolt locks back Repeat steps 3 to 7 and watch smile spread across face! This is mine; And when i found a roll of snow-pattern camo tape and was bored; Its got a Predator 12 on but i've not been able to test it yet as its a Christmas present from the missus You won't find a more fun gun to plink with, or to annoy people with winchesters/marlins by beating them in gallery rifle comps Mark
Oxon88
not seen that before. So what happens if you just hold in the bolt release button whilst pulling the trigger? full auto?
Breastman
The rifle breaks (it's designed to if you try it!) and you have to explain to your FLD why you need a variation for replacement parts and fork out the £400 for them!! Some of the original batch however weren't designed properly and could be fired semi-auto using that method for extended periods and there was a recall, (well they all had to be handed into the police as Section 5 firearms actually). Each gun had to be tested and if it was a S5 one it had to be sent back to SGC to be cannibalised into a replacement S1 version. Mine was one of the unlucky ones and it took 7months to get sorted out, I was not a happy bunny! Mark
Imperfection
Someone i know has one too and yes they're great fun! The lever release bolt is everso easy to operate and you can rattle off 30 rounds in the Uzi mags in very little time. Also, being 9mm the ammuition is dirt cheap. Vermincinerator
When are they going to produce this in 223? Now that would be worth waiting for. Ian.
Breastman
Pistol calibres only I'm afraid as it works via straight blowback, rifle carts would produce too much energy for this type of action. It was the second question I asked SGC after, when can I get one of the 9mm rifles!? Mark Edited December 20, 2010 by Breastman
Dr_Scholl
I shot a friend of mine's 9mm AR a couple of years back and i've always wanted one. The nice thing is 9mm is very cheap, usually $10-12 a box here. Shooting my 5.56 AR's is fun too but expensive.
Breastman
I wish i could get 9mm at that price! :o I'm paying £23-26 per 100 at the moment. York Guns wanted £36 when i asked them Mark

Zapp
That "arrested blowback" action is a new one on me, I never even knew these existed. I'm quite surprised they allow them (not that I am being judgemental), I would have thought a skilled user could get a rate of fire similar to that of a semi auto. I'm quite surprised they allow them (not that I am being judgemental), I would have thought a skilled user could get a rate of fire similar to that of a semi auto. The guns have been designed to comply with the terms of what does and doesn't constitute a semi auto full-bore firearm (in the same way LBR's were designed to comply with what the legislation terms as a handgun). The legislation makes no reference to rate of fire, only the mechanical operation which defines semi-automatic. But yes, it can get quite expensive lets put it that way :yp: Mark

Yeah i've no idea how they tried justifying that price, i think it was for that Wolf rubbish aswell Mark Wolf ammo isn't as bad as it used to be. They used to use a kind of lacquer coating on their rounds which was a real problem for AR-15's in particular. It would melt when the gun started to heat up and it was a serious pain in the a** to get out. I've seen a few cases where the lacquer actually caused the bolt to fracture from gumming it up so much. TThey've stopped using it now however. Edited December 21, 2010 by Dr_Scholl
