SilentKill
Well, thought some of you may like a peak at the New CZ455 .17HMR Thumbhole Laminate. 16" Version with a Sirocco SM1116P Mod. First impressions are good! only just mounted the Schmidt on the top and it fits nicely! got away with the medium mounts on the 56mm lens which is a right result probably about a mm clearance! (Thanks to Alex from here for the scope) Edited December 23, 2010 by SilentKill

al4x
looks rather too nice to take out if it shoots as well as it looks should be a corker. One things for sure the scope works well, shot a couple of 150 yard pigeons with it yesterday just to move them on
njc110381
That's a lovely looking gun! CZ's have always been a bit rough around the edges (not knocking them but they are) but this is nice. And the scope fit. Absolutely spot on. It looks like a really nice setup. SilentKill
Let's hope it shoots as good as it looks! Hopefully sight it in tomorrow! If I get my shopping done today!

njc110381
I'm sure it will shoot great. I've never had a CZ that wouldn't and with a scope of that quality on it I can't see you having any problems. My old HMR would do 5p sized groups at 100 yards. Can't see why yours would be any different?! Edited December 23, 2010 by njc110381
Steyr 6.5
Lovely looking stock there mate. If I was ever to upgrade my CZ it would be for that stock...Anyone on here got a spare stock knocking around
12borejimbo
Nice rifle, and nice scope, wish I could afford a setup like that!
Cannon
Nice looking rifle. I'd have bought the exact same one if it weren't for the rather skinny grip. Just didn't feel anatomically correct

SilentKill
Took it up to one of my permissions today to sight it in! Put one down range at about 30 yards it was about 5' left and 5' low! result paced out 80 yards roughly, adjusted and grouped under an inch so happy with that! off the Bipod. Not shot HMR before, only .22! didnt realise how pokey it was! through an inch bit of slate, a pallet and into the small Brick shed (handy back stop for zeroing in) Lots of rabbits around but i didnt get any safe shots at them, i did have a close encounter with a fox though, not that old, i heard him before he heard me, i just froze, watched him from about 50 yards until he got to about 15yards and noticed me standing there with a HMR in my hand! But i let him off, its too close to christmas and we were both after the bunnies anyway! but good stuff!
triscrx
I looked at one of these today at the Sportsman in Exeter. Quite nice but the first time I have tried a thumbhole stock. I'd like to shoot one to see how I get on. Got chatting to the guy about the new CZ's and he said the quality control has improved alot now hence the price increase. £ for £ he said its the best value out there and years and years of reliable accurate shooting. Best sellers in there he said
