Lord Geordie
Hi anyone got any shoots that looking for a little help with need to get out and just lost my permission as the land has been sold i would really appreciate it ladsany where in the north east would be great if not no probs cheers dazag12 I feel for you Bud! I lost BOTH my permissions and now just go now and then to the clay grounds, I will eventually get round to trying to find a Beating position again somewhere and see if I can't get some permission that way again! If you can find a local shoot offer to help out with the pen building, feeding, and later in the season beating for vermin permission! It's worked for me and I spent YEARS looking and I am talking nearly 12 years of searching for permission and up here it seemed like the ONLY way to get it. I knocked on farmers doors and left cards etc with insurance details etc etc I must have spent about £500 on fuel just doing the door to door and got nowhere. It was a friend who put me in touch with the local game keeper at his place I got beating and got vermin shooting as payback
Luckyshot
Not a lot about local round here but if you travel a few miles and start knocking something will come up. Most of my shooting is atleast a half hours drive away.

Durham-laddie
Had an e-mail from John Shooter the guy who owns it. He said they have good shooting around Scotch Corner and Northallerton.... And Ripon as well. Going to give them a try. Dinodad on here belongs to them and says it's good shooting with them in the North area
