MattSoanes
Just had a call from the guy who we get our poults off, he is putting 35p on a 7 week old pheasant (£3.40) and 40p on a 12 wek old french partridge (£3.90). He tells me the price of gas has really shot up and pellet is up £100 a tonne. :o Has anyone else had any quotes for this years stock yet? Devon Fox
Sounds like you were getting your poults at a good price - We were £3.50 last rearing season . The costs have gone through the roof for everyone Im afraid, Yours sound still good value in my opinion.

Alycidon
Buy your birds locally boys, far less stress induced casualties and the rearer is on hand of you have any probs. You might guess that prices will all be about the same be it £3 or £23. A
