Toombsy
I've recently bought a slightly battered and bruised Investarms .410 O/U for my girls. It was a little rough, so went to town on it this week, and here's the finished result... Basically I stripped down the wood right down to the white, sealed the two tiny cracks, steam-ironed out the dints and filled a couple of very deep ones, rubbed down for hours with 0000 grade wire wool, slowly sharpened the chequering with a fine chisel, then stained with Colron Deep Mahogany dye, and added seven coats of Napier Gun Stock Finish. Quite pleased with the result, really Sorry about the quality of the pics - all taken on phones BEFORE AFTER Edited February 23, 2011 by Toombsy

yickdaz
that looks hundred times better than that horrible pale looking stock originally on it also a bit of linseed oil would finish it off Edited February 23, 2011 by yickdaz
