Hunter
nice one chaps i hate rats. KILL THEM ALL Easy there chaps.. and the pictures of burning rats.. I think is going a little far.. Rat or not, its an animal, a reserves the right to the same respect. I will be flamed for this, yes. But please go easy and destroy the pests after culling in your own way, but the words above, and the pictures of them burning.. hmm Sorry for being a boring sod

Dead-Eyed Duck
Understand your sentiment Hunter, but there ain't many rat lovers, even amongst the bunny huggers. Funny that..... Don
Natures_son
Hunter the pictures show legal ways of culling rats the burning pic is disposing of the little ******** once killed. My opinion is you dont like the pictures dont look at them. Y.I.S Jordan

Yes, but the farmers dont come and show them off on the forum.. Ive got no problems with hunting rats, they are a real pest, and carry many diseases etc, I just think this whole rat hate mob of showing them burning etc is just going a little to far. Il go get me coat
Frank
Having ferrets around the place and leaving their dropings where rats would go, is a great way to keep them at bay. I know, as i have done it before. Usually, if you keep ferrets, you wont get rats.
scolopax
I'll agree with Hunter. Those rats in the piccy are not been burnt to dispose of them. To do that they need to be on a real fire with some serious heat. Pouring a bit of petrol or whatever on them then lighting it will just singe the corpses. Grimescar-keeper
Ever heard of cremation, its where they burn people, yes, people. The real world mate, they showed pictures of piles of burning cattle during foot and mouth. Get a grip.
Hunter
Foot and mouth was very serious, and very sad for many people. As said above, your best of chucking them on the bonfire if you do burn them.. otherwise bury them. Funily enough, we have a rat problem next to our composting site on the farm, and the rats live inside the burning pile which is a concrete area with half meter high walls.. the rats live in there under wood waiting to be burnt off, and at night they feed of the compost.. all they do is light the fire up every now and then, then no more rts for a while not good..
