reddeer 40
The last formality, paying before checking out. On the way back we had some chat about what we would do next year. 5/6 would go back and maybe we will arrange something for some deer shooting in Scotland, what is in my opinion one of the nicest areas for stalking deer on foot. Trophy hunting in Hungary for roe & red deer is too expensive, they are weighing by grams! Our stalkers told us that the best trophy's are taken by rich German clients, flew in by helicopter! What we did was a kind of a culling package, there is to much game for the crops that have to start growing. The fields there are covered with wheat, soya beans, sun flowers and maize. Voila, I hope you enjoy the pictures, normally I have to recieve some more from 2 shooters, if there are any good ones I will post them. Dunkield
Redeer, I see you all use 'normal' riflescopes. I was expecting to have to buy a low power or red dot scope for driven boar - do you think 6x42 will have a wide enough field of view to pick up moving targets or not? reddeer 40
@stuartP a 6x42 is a good scope during daytime, I started with it also. But when you have to shoot in low light conditions (evening outings) you are better of with a 50 our 56 mm lens. Believe me, when you don't see anything anymore with the 6x42, you are still able to take a shot with the other ones. And Swarovski & Zeiss are the best in my opinion. reddeer 40
Hubertus, I can assure you that nobody went out drunk. All animals were shot properly, not one had to be searched by a dog. The problem was that there was to much time between the morning & evening outing. We were staying at a beautiful area but there was nothing to do. We didn't had a car there so after a few days you get bored. So we ended up always in our little dinner room. Next year we will arrange a car to visit some places!! Hubertus
Sorry then it was a missunderstanding. Thought you were drinking before or while hunting. After its fine and its sometime a must after a good day of shooting. Best wishes, Hubertus
