Come on then guys and gals, who's out next tuesday and will you be on the picket lines or do you have something better to do?

I'll kick it off, I'm reluctantly on strike but refuse to spend money travelling 20 miles to picket. I'd rather go and blat some pigeons to supplement my loss of earnings for the day.

i'm out next tuesday , i'm not sure about the picket line yet , i've never been on a picket line before, will we have to stand around fire buckets and throw bricks at the scabs ? , it might just be an excuse to throw bricks at the people i don't like :) .

Pensions. ******** if you have one ******** if you don't. A right old lottery. My dad paid into his for about 40 years and got nothing, the company ripped him and many others off. I started my pension about 15 years ago and the company have now changed it from a "final salary" to a "not too sure what you get but keep giving us the cash" pension. :ernyha:

We're not allowed to go on strike, but I'd be out if I could. We pay a massive lump of our wages into a good scheme that pays well when we retire - thank god, because I can't see a state pension being around then :ernyha:

Mrs P. has taken out extra AVCs and an ISA to cover her when she finishes. Bloody ridiculous, but one of those things you have to do these days :ernyha:

I striked last september, the company i work for did away with the final salary pension.I could of retired at 60 with 40 years service.NOT ANYMORE.I don't blame anyone who stands up for there rights,we pay into a pension for ex amount of years to secure our future and they think they can just scrap it.The strike will affect my job as the meat inspecters are out :ernyha:
