Bluebarrels Posted April 30, 2011 Report Share Posted April 30, 2011 (edited) Went out for a couple of hours this morning with a mate,to try and get the crows/jackies to decoy as of late they really have being reluctant to commit to the decoys. I arranged with my mate to meet at 6.30 this morning,we then went to one of our static hides and stuck the decoys out,we used 15 full body decoys To be truthfull its a pretty good hide and well sited,however the crows seemed reluctant to commit to the decoys,so we decided we needed to stick a top net on and we also thickened the cam-net on the front of the hide Within minutes of putting the top net on birds started dropping in much closer it was a welcome sight to see the crows/Jackies playing the game for once,after a few outings that have being difficult to say the least. After a couple of steady hours,we packed the kit away and picked the bag up for the photo-finish 61 shot on the clicker and 46 made it to the photo the rest lost to the brambles/nettles so not a half bad day BB Edited May 5, 2011 by Bluebarrels Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
