If possible could someone post a pic with the fore-end removed so I can get a look at the working bits, got the manual but would like to a pic, theres something not right in mine, theres a ratlling coming from up there :thumbs:

I think it might be the piston, should this rattle? I dont want to fire it incase it takes my hands off :thumbs:

Don't worry the Piston is made up of about 4 to 6 parts and HAS to have an amount of movement.

 

The 2 MAJOR parts of the piston is the Piston body and the Recoil damper. The Damper rests on a stiff spring to absorb recoil and WILL move and is most likely to cause of the rattle.

 

At the worst it simply wont cycle the next shot as the piston has NOTHING to do with the barrel it is simply the mechanism that cycles the next shot and expels the spent cart :blink:
