rimmie
Haveing a mooch in a couple of local dealers shops when there it was a browning 525 prestige grade 5 with a semi I had a look at the price £3500 !!!! That's for a 28" sporter witch is the model I would want as they also had a game model I asked to have a hold and it was perfect the wood was amazing and the engraving was something else. I can seek my current gun and a couple of others but I would still need a couple of grand so iv been looking for a second hand version and they are out there for about £2000-£2500.does anyone have one or used one opinions please
tweedledee
think if i was spending that money on a browning it would be a belgian one. hand made and an entirely better gun.
HDAV
Save a bundle and get a grade 5 Miroku one of the nicest guns i have ever seen was a Grade 5 425 stunning!

HDAV
Just look for a good one (I would go for chromed lined barrels of the later ones) they are good for many 100's of thousands of carts and who would abuse such a lovely gun? Grade 5 Miroku's are very nice too keep an open mind, Sporterised Traps tend to be 30" or longer but can be under £1500!
rimmie
Hmmm interesting,il have to have a ring about and see who's got what
Mark-70
A dealer near me has a grade 6 Miroku MK70, its absolutely stunning! £3250 though! I really want it lol!

Cannon
I'd love a Famars Poseidon Round Action. Absolutely stunning gun, but just a tad steep at £18,000 odds :(

HDAV
Always liked the look of round actions, and the engraving on the Famars range is phenomenal Fair enough each to there own....I do like the idea of FLodman never seen one or held tho http://www.flodman.com/press/flodman_guns.pdf http://www.guntrader.co.uk/GunsForSale/110226161510000 Is a nice bit of timber (and a proper stock unlike the previous link)
Cannon
The FLodman is certainly minimalistic in appearance. As you say, each to their own
dougall
Rimmie, Get a 425 grade 5,cracking gun will last forever, tremendous value.Get one from 2003 onward(chromed barrels). I've had one from new since 2004 and it is a great gun for the money.I would think you could find a v.tidy one for £1500-£1800ish and I cannot see the point of paying double for a new 525.A well looked after 2nd hand one will hold its value too.A new one,a bit like a car will cost you £500 the frst time you fire it!!! Where are you based you are v welcome to shoot mine if ever down Sussex way, want to try one. ATB.
