Daft remark? If you buy a Hatsan and expect it to work well your deluded. It has a 3 year warranty for a reason, plus spare O rings... You expect them to be rubbish... enough said.

Without any help from anybody else you have assumed that my 'daft comment' remark referred to your comments.

How interesting.

just to add to the post, have had my hatsan 4 years put approx 16000 cartridges through it. hardly ever clean it and its only failed me 3 times, all my fault, twice gas port holes blocked and once with trigger spring fouled up, again through lack of tlc!in my opinion its a great tool for the vermin control work i do with it,and you cant fault it on price if you get a good one.

If you get a good one... Just my point! You take a risk with losing/wasting £400.00

Really? Are you actually speaking from experience or just recycling what you've heard?

Also, fancy them including spare consumable parts free with the gun! They must be ****?????!!!!

Experience??? Id not even pick one up as I value my life. I've read just about all I can handle on escorts and their poor build quality, every post about escorts is about them going wrong. Save up a little more and buy a second hand Beretta or Browning and it will be a thousand times better.

You should look on the sporting gun website where they reviewed a Beretta Es100 and a Hatsan Escort, and guess what came out of the review on top, Yes it was the Escort :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo:

Once again... It's an escort :P I've never heard of any Beretta, Browning etc being sold with missing parts. I understand they are a useful tool but it doesn't surprise me!

It was a private sale!!! Can't blame the manufacture or importer.

You can hardly expect something like the mongrel the 100 is to be a real Beretta. If you want to examine it witha pedigree, try it out with the likes of the xtremas and urikas.
