A top bloke in my book:good:

He just says it as it is - well good on him. Unfortunately most of us have to bite our tongue or suffer the consequences. I liked this bit "...On top of that your memory's going, I can't remember names and things," he admitted.

I can imagine... "Er... here boy, come here"

"It's Charles, Dad. The name's Charles...."

:lol: :lol: :lol:

I speak my mind and every ******* hates me. :blush:

I know that problem! I was brought up a certain way...slightly old fashioned maybe by todays standards, it involved a degree of respect, and discipline. Very much a case of you don't hit a woman...ever, and 'if you live under this roof there's rules, either you live by them or you don't live here'. My no.2 stepson hasn't managed to grasp this concept, he doesn't see why he should pay rent now he's working, why he should do some chores in the house to help out etc etc. Forever whingeing about how "I've never had a leg up from anyone!"...*****! he no longer lives under this roof.

I'm known for telling it as I see it, mostly my mates appreciate it for what it is, honest. Those who don't like that tend not to be my friends. This is not something that worries me. I reckon I'd get on OK with HRH! :lol:

He's a legend, just looking at him walking around on state visits makes me smile because you know he's probably going to cause a rumpus at any minute. As far as I'm concerned he's served the country all his life during peace and war and he can say whatever he likes. Good luck to him and I sincerely hope that he hits a century at least. Phil, I salute you.

In all the media info about HRH there's hardly any mention about his love of shooting...apart from this little snipett, which IMO is priceless;

'1961: Prince Philip is appointed first president of the World Wide Fund for Nature - a position he holds until 1982.

The same year, his shooting of a tiger while in India causes a furore'. :good::lol:

Not even a mention or birthday wishes on the BASC (of which he's patron)website! :huh:
