mattslaptop247
I have seen a lovley 410 but it has been cut down for a youngster. How much would it cost to have it extended by 3 inches? (The existing piece that was cut off is missing)
Spara Dritto
Dennis from UK Gun Repairs did a fantastic job on a friends gun and he never over prices anything. Give him a call.
the_commoner
last time i had a stock lengthened i think it cost around £125. 3 inches is a lot to extend by and no matter how well its done it will always look like its been extended. I think thats about what I paid as well . As to it not matching I quite like it and make a point of the good workmanship and try to get walnut that looks totally different. Look and POWs 28 bore he shoots the skill of blending the 2 pieces to a totally smooth finish with perfect lines but different grain I think is great. Spara Dritto
I wonder if it's possible to get a butt pad that is big enough instead of extending the wood, in your case?
HDAV
3" is a lot of Rubber 1" easy there is the Gracoil adjustable unit or one of the recoil reducers but a new stock wont be much more might get a stock from a another gun thats full length and can be fitted into the action espeically if its a common action
Good shot?
I would consider a DIY job on this one. What have you got to lose other than the cost of material.
welshwarrior
You could use vulcanite spacers I think the largest ones are 1/2 inch bit you may get bigger try chambers then DIY fit them cheapest option
shoughton
Depending upon what the gun is you could look on ebay - last week I watched 3 stocks for Webley 410s.
