plexer
You can get them from various battery suppliers on the internet plus ebay. But what is going to kill you on them is the delivery as these are very heavy. Maybe better to go to a local game fair type show. nbd1
I dont know if this is true but i was told to go to one of these mobility places(the type that sell electric wheelchairs etc) and ask for batteries that had been exchanged for new apparently they work and you can pick them up for the price of a pint. i am sure there is someone on here that might know if its possable. Lord Geordie
Motorcycle battery (gel type) Often get for under £25 and they are designed to be drained and recharged etc. May be worth a look in your local motorcycle shops LG
two-barrels
i have got one now thank you all. i paid £25 for the battery and £11 for the 4amp charger. i got them from my local car parts dealer.
plexer
Funnily enough I found my local parts place you know the one that sounds like 2-way radio etiquette with suitable chargers too. They had a 4amp which is a good pick for a 17ah battery switches to trickle charge once full and also some smaller plugtop style ones to trickle charge all the time. barryrabo
i found 3 at my local amenity site(dump) batteries have to be disposed of safely now, EU legislation.ask the site workers to keep an eye out for some, might cost you a fiver at most. plexer
Trouble is at most waste disposal sites now you aren't allowed by law to remove items and the operators could lose their jobs if they allowed you to. Most have a scheme in place for the recycle of lead acid and other batteries. Ben
