Boromir
I am a huge JRR Tolkien fan, I've got most of his and Christopher' Tolkien s books and wanting to know or if you could recommend any books in a similar genre. Don't include Harry Potter as I don't like them or the Narnia's series as they seem to be for the younger people. Thanks.
Budice
Try The Chronicles of Thomas Covenant, the Unbeliever by Stephan Donaldson. Clicky Read them years ago and quite enjoyed them

Thunderbird
You could try The Greenbriar Queen trilogy by Shelia Gilully Apparently the earlier books in the Redwall series by Brian Jaques are quite good, a mate of mine's 17 year old son was reading them and he got interested. Look him up on Wiki and they compare him with Tolkein. Not my cup of tea but then he didn't think they were his either..
