Yeah, they were **** with a capital S! I mean really bad. I'd rather eat a dead skunk than eat those sausages again! I don't know what I did wrong but man were they awful!:oops:

If it is possible to make something bunny based that I like - well I'll be in your debt for ever! I shoot so many and to be honest I just can't face eating them! It's a real shame and such a waste. I give away a lot but I can't get rid of all of them.

Neil, I was planning to make pheasant pasties, but the freezer is a little bare, I've only 1 pheasant left. I might have to do some "pheasant surprise" ones specially for you. The surprise being that the pheasant is in fact rabbit!

There was an article in the telegraph today (CLA game fair supplement) on shooting rabbits, with a couple of great recipes. Oh and Taylors in Minch will buy rabbits off you :good:

i think what Neil should say is he 'would' give more away 'if' he could pick up whats left.lmao.

how much is taylor's paying Dave? i get £2.50 in winter but only £1 in summer as butcher will not take them until 1st Sept. no room in freezer to store them this time of year as it fills up to fast with pigeons.

It varies Phil, but mostly about what you're getting. They're only a small butcher not a game dealer so they'll only take a few now and then.

Mike don't worry about james and Erica they are fine they owe me from a few party's we have done for them. I know it's not common knowledge as I prefer it to stay that way but I'm a equal partner with them in the restaurant. So it seems fair that it should be my turn now. James is a shooting man himself (as I type this he is in a hide in the next field to me) and he was showing an interest in coming himself, but he's concerned that he won't have much to talk about as he isn't a pigeonwatch member the Internet is still a foreign beast to him no matter how many times he tries to tell me the opposite

Silver pigeon I will stick you on the list when I get home as I find doing anything more complicated than a simple post a bind on a iPhone. Thankyou very much for the kind offer of the kebabs

That's no good! Tell him from me that he has to come along so we can prove that we're not internet geeks! It's a bit of a trip into the unknown for all of us really. I only know most of the people going by a username but I'm sure we'll all get along just fine!

It's going to turn out we're all actually 14 year old girls trying to hook sugar-daddies isn't it?

I'm only a 14 year old girl on special occasions and that's only at the right price.

Neil I tried to call you and Phil earlier, will try again Tomorow if that's ok. Can't talk tonight her brothers Are coming round and be been told I have to be polite.

Sounds like a cracking idea!

Last time I remember a get together with food made from our quarry was at Stead Hall

I made enough Sausages to feed an army with Tandoori Wood pigeon, Pork and Pigeon, Venison and horse raddish and venison and herb.

I have expanded on Recipies now and made Morrocan rabbit burgers and Itallian Venison sausages.

In the past few years I messed about with different meats and spices and came up with some crackers. Alas now I spend more time making Wine and Ale but mainly because I don't get out shooting any longer

I was going to text you about this H, but as you're away I guess my not getting around to it yet doesn't matter so much! We should get together sometime though. Do you fancy coming on one of our range days perhaps?

Have fun in France. I could do with a holiday myself!

Sorry about that. I was hedgecutting so didn't hear my phone and when I checked it later I didn't recognise the number so ignored it! I forgot you were going to ring otherwise I'd have called back. I'm out stalking later so if I don't answer then I will make sure I get back to you. I've got your number now. :good:

Rabbit leg kiev,

Rabbbit with mustard sauce,P

rabbit loin with lentils and bacon,P

Tandoori rabbit,

Venison

Haunch of venison baked in hay,P

Venison liver with capers and sage,P

venison sausage casserole

Pigeon,

Low temperature cooked breast with cassis sauce,P

Breast with walnut crust,

I have a new hard Goats Cheese "Pir Piri" this will go nicely with the "Hot Wobbly" lets hope you have plenty of cold something or other to wash it down with.

I will also bring some "Sawbridgeworth Gold" real ale.

Looking forward to meeting up, what time is kick off, do you want me there early to help set up?.

I have a nice idea for a very quick and tasty starter using Soft Goats Cheese it that is OK, but do not be frightened to say no.

Terry
