philm
Never tried a semi and thinking of getting a Beretta ES 100, Are they worth having? will be mostly used for pigeon and odd days on clay's. Other than this what would be the best buy? Looked at a couple of different makes in gun shop, the ones I really liked where way to expensive. blade
Review here of the es100 dont know anybody that owns one though. Most people sem to opt for the maxus or sx3. Alot of people swear by the benelli as the one of the top semi autos http://www.sportinggun.co.uk/guns/514667/Beretta_ES100_semi_auto_shotgun_review.html
shaun4860
The ES 100 is a benelli badged as a beretta, its recoil operated rather than gas like other beretta's i would rather have a proper beretta... shaun
COACH
I`v tried one of these out for a day and I must say I liked it. For a pigeon/rough shooters gun its ideal especially at that price. And of course is more than capable of shooting a few clays with a 24g cartridge or bigger. Look around for a sale or deal and your on to a definite winner. Laird Lugton
Apparently they have been discontinued by GMK. I wonder what the replacement is?
poorpeet
I'd hunt down a Franchi Raptor. Uses Beretta and Benelli bits. No money second hand.
retromlc
get a raptor like pete says or a late beretta 391,much better,a benelli M2 with a short barrel is a tasty bit of kit too,as far as I know an ES100 is old tech reproduced.
chrispti
Apparently they have been discontinued by GMK. I wonder what the replacement is? The A400 will be the only Beretta semi auto GMK now sell.
retromlc
The A400 will be the only Beretta semi auto GMK now sell. is that true? where did you read that?they are good guns as it was the 391 replacement apparently
HDAV
The A400 will be the only Beretta semi auto GMK now sell. GMK seem to not sell many of the manufacturers they represent! Guess the hatstands have swallowed the majority of the "budget Semi" market. Franchi is another good option, but why a semi? more faff to clean and maintain cartridge fussy and all for 1 extra shot I would say see if you can try a few before buy. chrispti
is that true? where did you read that?they are good guns as it was the 391 replacement apparently A friend was chatting to a man on the A400 ''have a go stand'' at the Beretta World, apparently all the older models will be slowly discontinued, you cant get the extrema 2 any more and a few more models in the 391.
