al4x
They are just as good as other gauges if you point them in the right place and there you have it depends entirely how good you are. I know a few people use them on driven pheasants but they are very good shots, its something you have to see a very good shot with a .410 knock down anything most mortals can with a 12 bore
welshwarrior
Our old Shoot Captian used to do it stroll behind the gun line with with AYA No3 410 mopping up the birds that would challenge him that we had missed!!!
Dangerous Brian
Learned to shoot with a bolt action Norica .410 and have traded it in for a SxS Yildiz .410. Both great guns to use as long as you remember that there aren't as many pellets flying about so keep the ranges down. Bolting bunny at the local clay ground is an absolute hoot with this type of gun. Pretty handy out in the field too as there is a lot less noise and fuss when you fire it. foxbuster
The .410 is a brilliant tool that gets plenty of action with me. Sometimes the 12 bore is just too much clout for certain jobs and the air rifle or rimmies arent really suitable. They are even better when a moderator is fitted, brill for ratting!! Would'nt be without one now!
njc110381
I took a Fox with mine a while back. He was only about ten yards away, but it did the trick. Eley 3" #
