Hello fellow shooters

Recommended Posts

Wow, I can't believe there is a website for pigeon shooters!! I shoot them here in the USA mostly over harvested wheat fields and (hold your nose) hog lots. The birds are a little smaller than your wood pigeons but decoy readily and provide top notch practice for later season game such as doves and ducks. I have been at this for about 28 yrs. and have a little experience if there is a need to hear about it. I am totally blown away at the inventiveness I have seen among you shooters. You have taken decoying birds to a level I never knew existed!! I am a retired fiefighter and have an appreciable amount of time to spend in the field perfecting (or trying to) my fieldcraft. I am looking forward to gleaning some more advice from what obviously are some top notch shooters. Thank you in advance for your hospitality.

welcome wat guns you got fella

For the pigeons I shoot a Browning Silver with the Sure Cycle piston and action spring, I tired of all the jams with the factory set up. It functions without a hiccup now. 12 gauge shooting the mod. or 1/2 choke tube with 24gram loads 71/2 magnum shot@ 1250fps.

Howdy.I'd love a crack at Coyote Shooting someday.Welcome to PW mate.

If ever you desire to take a crack at them come on over and bring your 250 it is plenty of medicine for song dogs. The very best month is February which is breeding season and they are a little easier(not much)to kill then.

By the way if you ever have any cycling problems with your SX3 check out Sure Cycle, they have the parts to make it bulletproof.
