ColinF
Not sure when they stopped making them, but they are as good as everyone says and they are quite sought after. I managed to get one that had only fired about 200 shots a few years ago and it's a pleasure to use. I have had the barrel shortened, otherwise its standard and very accurate. Its probably worth at least what I paid for it, if not a bit more As far as I know the Quad mags don't fit. fendrover90
nice rifles i like them.not often you see one for sale. i paid virtually the same as new price for a quad as it nearly unused but with a greater resale value not that id be selling it would like a larger mag though
JRDS
The Quad mags do not fit, they are totally different plus they are all HMR length.
Trefil Hunter
i have one and its the best 22lr i have had. i could not part with it. i think there are only 5 and 9 shot mags available. the one i bought came with original box and original open sights
minghis
The mags don't fit the quad. Keep your eyes open for spare mags and buy them if you can, they're in short supply and the new ones are expensive, £37 for the 10 shot, I think the 5 shot is around the same. You may also want to keep a few of the ejector wires (about a fiver) as they are a weak point. Still available but I don't know how long for. As far as I know they stopped making them about 5 years ago when they introduced the quad. I have had mine for 13 years and it has never jammed, misfired or failed to eject, ever. Never had any maintenance other than a bit of lube to the bolt. I reckon they're brilliant, you've made a good choice. Interesting to note also that used ones are selling for more than I paid for mine new 13 years ago! If I was a RFD I'd buy all I could find. bornfree
If i was you i would get another 5 shot mag as the 9 shot ones dont feed as well.i have both with my finnfire and using the same ammo the 9 shot regularly fails to feed.cracking rifle though good choice. bornfree

Scully
My mate has had one from new,and it's a lovely piece of kit.Thet are very collectible and you don't often see them come up for sale. His has exceptional wood, which has proved to be a bit of a drawback....he's terrified of marking it,hence it only gets used under perfect shooting conditions! If it's raining,it stays in the slip;he wont get blood or mud on it and as a result we always take mine which is a synthetic CZ 452,as accurate as trhey come and a real workhorse. I've told him to get a few dings and bats in it(I much prefer guns to look used)and then he wont be so precious about it,otherwise what's the point of having it?He's so impressed with mine since it was chopped that he's toying with the idea of having his done, maybe he would use it a lot more then. Dekers
As someone said it is about 5 years back they stopped making them, perhaps a year or so more thinking about it! Which Model do you have..... Hunter, Varmint, Range? They are excellent!
