plexer
Went out for a couple of hours this afternoon on some set aside. Ended up with 8 pigeons and 1 rabbit for 24 shots including my first ever right and left at pigeon. Not many coming around but the ones that I did shoot decoyed lovely. Cranfield
Some people neglect set aside, but it can be very attractive to pigeons, especially after its been "swathed". Congrats on the right and left, I have only ever had left and rights.
Dead-Eyed Duck
Cranfield - does that mean that you always shoot with a side b side? What do you call two consecutive hits with an over and under, or a semi-auto? Don
Cranfield
What do you call two consecutive hits with an over and under, or a semi-auto? Don Lucky. My "left and right" comment on plexers post, was just intended to be lightly humourous. I have always considered the position of the quarry determines the left/right aspect, not the location of the barrels on the weapon.

plexer
Yup well I killed the right hand bird first then the left so I'd call it a right and left Ben
rupertx
Yup well I killed the right hand bird first then the left so I'd call it a right and left Ben Would be the natural swing through for a right handed shooter. Personally, I shoot lefthanded so taking the righthand bird first then swinging back for the left feels un-natural but not beyond the realms of possibilty. Nice shooting anyway
