ON THE STUBBLE

CROWBLIND

Got 2 weeks off work so spied my chance on my local permission, and guess what, hes just combining as i turned up :)

Set up in my usual spot where there was an abundance of birds, but soon after dropping the first couple saw nothing for over half hour.

So decided to move over to the back field. Upon reaching the brow of the hill overlooking said field it was covered in crow and pigeon.

Quickly set up the deeks using horseshoe pattern and added 2 homemade floaters to each incoming edge.

The wind was quite brisk at times providing some very fast paced sport, which kept my faithfull springer Charlie, aka Bacon busy all afternoon.

Packed up late afternoon when i ran out of carts.

All in all a very enjoyable day out with my best mate Charlie, managed to nobble 108 pigeon all told, some unpicked in thick gorse, and 28 crows.

Dropped pigeons off at local game dealers and picked some more carts up ready for another bash at em.

Thanks for reading guys and happy hunting ;)

Cheers

CB :good:
