cockercas
Evening. After a bbq today I got the .22 out. Let the gf and her sisters plink with it. By the smiles on Their faces they enjoyed it. But is there any fun targets to plink away at. They did tin cans full of water and apples today

rimfire4969
Eggs are good fun, You can also get some chalk targets that explode when hit, ballons on a string can be tricky when the wind is blowing (staked to the ground) and have to shoot within 5 seconds. Frenchieboy
How about some exploding targets like these: http://www.firebirdtargets.co.uk/index.html I'v always fancied trying some of these for some "long range target practice but not got round to buying any yet so I don't know how good they are - They certainly look like fun! They should liven a BBQ and "Fun Afternoon" whatever type of gun you are using! Edit: If your future father in law is a farmer you could always ask him to try employing a few illegal imigrants for the harvesting season so you have some moving targets - It might save him having to pay them at the end of the season too! njc110381
I like to shoot extra strong mints. Tennis balls are another good one as they get harder and harder the more you hit them.
gixer1
Golf balls, you can keep shooting them and knocking them further away...
