Frank
I like mine well done with onions, garlic and mushrooms. Becarefull with under cooked venison, could have parasites that could pass on to you.
Browning
I'm with Frank, steaks well done with garlic and mushrooms for the nice cuts. Casseroled with garlic, onions, mushrooms, carrots etc in red wine for the lesser cuts. Minced together with streaky bacon, garlic, crushed juniper berries and a drop of port and made into burgers for the crappy cuts.

the hitman
Im with henry d ,all red meat should be eaten rare, all this well done stuff is a waste. And if you want a nice red wine, try M+S italian table wine ,1lt with a screw top £4.49.

palombier
Hi all You don't know what you're missing eating it well done. Overcooking venison just makes it tough and dry from my experience. I cook mine for 17mins per lb at 200c or gas mark 6 and i find that just perfect and if it is a good cut you won't believe how tender it is. Devilishdave
I am about to have a steak done on the griddle pan I have coated it in plumb jam and will cook it so it is pink in the middle but not bleeding. I will let you know if it is any good. Dave Edited May 7, 2006 by Devilishdave
