ack-ack
I had three wasps nests dug out by badgers by my house last year. Harry What did they charge? I got one in the shed that wants looking at.
Fisherman Mike
You might not have any badgers in your area but they will roam 4 or 5 miles radius in a night sometimes so its definately a badger IMO.. Nothing else in the UK will dig out a Waso unless its got two legs.

escortmagnum999
+1 for badgers, they travel miles at night, wont be long before they take up residence in a rabbit sett or a fox earth on your land.

bignoel
i had to attend a garden .which looked like a ploughing match had gone on in one spot. the badger had dug a huge hole to get down to the grubs .you can imagine the attack the badger must of gone throu to get down to the nest .let alone the amount of stings to his face .brave animal

keg
I've only seen badgers twice in the wild and they were a lot bigger than i expected. Impressed with the Honey Buzzard, i hate Bees and Wasps. Fine with everything else ( apart from spiders)

Badger baiters used to break a leg or two before they set two or more dogs on it to even the odds up... ********!
