pavman
Flushed with success from assisting Grandalf Friday, i went round my own permission Sunday and sat out waiting on a Charlie, I have found body parts on and off for a while but have not seen the culprit although I have some idea of where he is coming from but not where he is going too. I set up with Night vision as close to cover as I could and just after dark I had a brief look at him as he trotted from my left to right across the field i was on. He was moving with purpose, would not stop and went past a few sitting Rabbits and Oh my he looked like a big boy, shaggy main and all........... unless it was a Lion? al4x
should have given him some lead and let one go, the plus point were you to miss with NV is you won't make it lampshy and one things for sure you won't make it scared of going out in the dark. Simple answer on size is they do go quite large but lion size I'd suggest either the zoom was turned up a bit more than you expected or it wasn't a fox
wymberley
For the UK (Bergmann applies), about 3' 6" to include brush and a tad under 18 lbs.
