rallyrus
Hi all, My question is, is there a maximum number of licence holders a land owner can have down to shoot his land? Hope that makes sense Cheers

stubby
Hi all, My question is, is there a maximum number of licence holders a land owner can have down to shoot his land? Hope that makes sense Cheers its more down to the firearms officer than the landowner, a place near me charges a £100 per year to shoot, alot of people tried putting it down just to get there FAC, but the FAO put a stop to it, of course, if your talking shotguns, then Id say no limit
rallyrus
I went to a farm where I've had permission since I was a lad, used to go there with the air rifle, in recent years I've just gone with the lurchers, lamping mainly. Not many rabbits but see a few foxes. Anyway thought I'd ask about putting him down on my fac application and he said there is already 3 people with fac's down on his land and he also wants to apply himself as he's having trouble with dogs worrying his livestock. Do you think its worth asking the FEO and see what he says???

rallyrus
the landowner will allow it as long as it doesn't hinder him when applying for his licence, during the winter months I go once a week or maybe once a fortnight with the lurcher lamping and I've never seen anyone else on the land lamping. I'm thinking the more land I can put down on the application the more it will aid in me getting it, I don't necessarily have to shoot there
