Jega
Congratulations on your new toy mate.My lad has got one of these and believe me it is a tremendous amount of quality gun for the money. Probably one of the most underated guns out there at the moment.

COACH
Fabulous guns for the money but the mk70 does have a low comb, so beware as you may not be able to get the correct sight picture up the rib. You could end up lifting your head off the stock if it's too low. Hopefully your one of those people that the MK70 fits well.

Used it today, and to be fair it is a tad low for me but its a great piece of kit so will put my other guns away for a bit and just use the m70. A mate had a comb raiser fitted by a guy in north wales he made a nice job so would concider getting it done later on just see how it goes. Its worth the extra exspence to get the gun to fit as i got it for a good price. Jega
Hi what did you have to do to have the comb raised. Lots of different options ,personally i like these as they mean you dont have to cut or permanantly damage the gun in any way. They are a pretty cost effective solution all round . http://www.wksswebshop.co.uk/beartooth-comb-raiser-kit-161-p.asp Edited October 9, 2011 by Jega
garjo
Took it to gunsmith - let them do their thing - understand they raise stock by using hot oil and clamping stock - wasnt too expensive.
COACH
Yeah, take it to a gun smith and let them raise it a few mm for you.

HDAV
Take it to a smith those beartooth things are horrid and a decent smith/stocker won't cost much more if the stock has the adjustment with some they can adjust the the way the stock meets the action to raise or lower the comb not sure on the MK70 so best speak to a competent pro! Leave well alone considering its a new gun to you, and the way I watched you dusting the clays give it time. I am sure the advice given to you on the shooting grounds must have been by people who read too many magazines or have eyes like Ben Turpin. ( For younger readers this man was cross eyed ). dan-250
Try it out with a bit of cardboard taped to it before you get it highered, see how you get on. That's how my trainer/coach does for me, then if u really do need it take it to the professionals and show them how much you want puttin on or raising.
