brett1985 Posted October 27, 2011 Report Share Posted October 27, 2011 hi everyone! just thought i'd introduce myself formally before posting anything else, lol. my names brett, im 26 years old and im from st day in cornwall. ive been in to shooting since the age of about 6, but its been mostly airguns untill now. i come from a bit of a shooting background, having both paremts shoot since before i was born (my mum used to shoot while pregnant with me! lol), and my uncle being an ex firearms advisor to kent police some years ago, as well as being a registered firearms dealer and having his own indoor range back when handguns were still available! he mostly buys and sells antique guns now though. i am currently waiting for my SGC and firearms cert to arrive, and i can officially say that the wait is painstakingly long down here..... although i have not got my own shotgun yet, i still cant wait to source one and start shooting on the local rough shoot that my partners father runs. most of my time at the moment is taken up with repairing and refurbishing air rifle stocks and metalwork for friends and family, as its something i really enjoy doing. at a quick glance ive just realised that ive probably got about 6 ongoing projects for different people at the moment that i really need to crack on with! lol. i hope that i can learn as much as possible from this fine forum, and also hope i may be able to help others on the airgun side of things! anyway, i think i may have rambled on enough now! lol. if there's anyone local to me, dont be afraid to say hi, im always on the lookout for new friends! all the best for now! brett Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
