Cranfield
Nice fish, I have caught most of my sea trout on the Delphi fishery in Connemara, dapping daddy long legs (among other methods) and in a few other places along the west coast of Ireland. I had a good weekend up in Cumbria trying for them, but unfortunately we didn't get a hook up. Living in the SE , all sea trout fishing requires considerable travelling, although a few come up the Kentish Stour , they are not in great numbers and access is difficult due to private land. flytie
Very nice, were they caught at night FT? Caught just as the light had gone Stuart. I caught the small ones first, biggest last! It weighed a tad over 4lbs and I had nearly packed up, then thought "Just one last cast", as you do. One of my better decisions. I used a floating line with medium sinking poly tip with a shortish tippet on it. Ft
