SNAKEBITE
Attached is hopefully a link or picture of a footprint that I took at Balcombe forest last Sunday. The GPS is there as a size reference to indicate size of footprint as I did not have a tape measure to hand! Any ideas of what it could be? I think it looks to big for a dog so that could only mean one thing .......................... Meaoowwwww :yp: EDITED TO INCLUDE............ A) Impressed I've got the hang of photos? THE GPS UNIT IS A SMIDGE UNDER 4.5"
new to the flock
It is a large dog print. Too narrow for a cat and there are claw marks in it, cats walk with retracted claws. NTTF

NTTF I did wonder about the claws but don't they run with claws out sometimes? Not doubting you though NTTF as I know you have a bit more experience on these things! Oh and what sort of dog has feet this size?

henry d
If you expand the pic, check out the slots to the top left to compare the size. BTW the best way to get a fright with prints is to see lab/GSD/rottie prints in fresh snow and then check them out as they turn to slush, they increase by about 50%.
