Georgy
Im 6' 4" and have been looking for guns with larger stocks. What do others my height shoot?
Richard.Hosgood
I'm 6'6" and use a new silver pigeon - ideally in summer when i'm wearing lighter clothing an extra half inch would be nice, but in a jumper / shooting vest or coat it's fine. BerettaSV10
Some will use a rubber or leather slip on butt extention, which extends the length of the stock in a non perminant way. Brownings tend to have a lop of around 15" though you will need to check the gun is a good fit as with any guns. If you want to perm extend a browning stock you need to remember the standard butt plate is curved and would need flattening first. You can also fit one of the extentions / butt pads that are around, like the kick eze. With beretta's you can get a variaty of different length standard butt pads, although not sure whats the largest one is. The other option is to fit a new piece of wood or ebony between the end of the stock and butt pad.
HDAV
Most Brownings also have triggers which are adjustable so can add some length that way
Paul T
I'm 6'4" and shoot with a 15" LOP on two guns and the semi-auto is 14.5". I did lengthen my O/U to 15.5" with a slip on recoil pad, but I found I couldn't mount it cleanly everytime as the heel tended to catch in my shirt/jacket. I went back to shooting my SxS at 15" and that convinced me to get a permanent recoil pad on the O/U to set it at 15". I'd like the semi-auto a bit longer, but TBH with an extra layer of clothes I don't really notice the difference.
Georgy
I tried a new silver pigeon 3 today, that seemed to fit quite well and felt really nice. The Miroku mk38 was similar feel. Edited December 1, 2011 by Georgy
EdSolomons
Depends entirely on your stance, and how long your neck is!
Gordon R
Height has very little, if anything, to do with stock length. The actual gun fit depends on the length of your arms, build, length of neck and more.
bigjohn
I'm 6ft7 and shoot with a MK38. I've tried a couple of Silver Pigeons, and found them to be a good fit. That said, I seem shoot better, with an LOP, that's a little on the short side, compared to text book?... Recoil pads are a good way of extending the LOP, without altering the structure of the gun. But, as mentioned above, I find they catch on clothing, if you try and mount the gun in an hurry.

RED BEARD
my 101 has a screw on wooden stock end, which i've packed out with washer's and then taped over them just until i get it how i want it.doing the top and bottom separatly means you can stick the top or bottom out which ever is your want.i tried one of them slip on rocoil pads once, but couldn't get on with it.
