Sorry, I'm sure that's not what you want to hear but is Dan said, there £1200 new. Not for a multichoke they're not. I recall kibworth SG was selling them for about £1550 a couple of years back when I bought my fixed choke one for £1150 If I was in the market and it had genuinely done less than a 1k cartridges I'd be ripping his hand of at a grand. Salop Matt
Your right SIH, a dealer has confirmed my pricing to be fair and another offered me £850 for it and obviously would also be putting mark up on it to make his money and also feel he could sell it easily to ! Spiderdude
Seems a good price from a dealer, I was offered the same and less for a 9 month old Silver Pig 1 from a couple of dealers. But I also think a grand is a fair price for it. Good luck and hope you get what you want.

Why the new ones are cheaper i dont know, but they are......
Thunderbird
The new ones have Optibore barrels and Optima chokes
dan-250
I wish the best with the sale and hope you do get a good price, certainly worth £900+ in any case. If it is a sp1 that is. If it's a silver pigeon s , there worth alot more. I no this is what I'm currently saving for, so have been looking at them for a while. That is the best price I've found in the month or 2 of looking. All other are 1300+ , I know there very reliable guns but I'd want the 10yr warranty and to know I'm the only person who has shot it, and know the exact history. OddJob
Why don't people just not say anything unless they want to buy it? It's for sale, not evaluation. If it's too expensive it won't sell, simple.
Salop Matt
Dan yes its s silver pigeon S and am sure it says so in my advert ! I dont know if am right or not but i was told that new ones currently dont come steel proofed as standard, mine is steel proofed ! And at £1,000 ono someone could offer me over £900 and i could accept if it was cash in hand and no messing about but it definately aint going at £850 ! B25Modelman
That's not the same gun that's the "new" cheaper Silver pigeon 1, not the same as the one the OP is selling. Why the new ones are cheaper i dont know, but they are...... Unfortunately that's the problem with many guns, determining the 'true' model number when there is little to go on and you never see all grades side by side (or over and under :-) ) Browning 25's can be very difficult with lower grade models being reworked by 3rd parties into higher grades. It has become a very profitable business. An £1000 A1 can be turned into a £10,000 B2G so you have to know what to look for. Having seen it for myeslf, even some gunshops can't tell and have told me to mind my own business when I questioned authenticity.
Salop Matt
Ive no worries with mine as i have all the labeling and packaging from berretta to prove it and having bought it brand new I know its 100% legit plus a quick check with the importers quoting the serial number would soon stop any debate ! dan-250: if you are interested in the gun then PM if you want Edited December 19, 2011 by salop sniper
