Alexbb
Hi Guys, having had my Beretta for about 6 years it is starting to feel a bit loose and I was thinking of getting it looked at by someone who knows what they are talking about just for a once over. Can anyone suggest how much it is likely to cost and where I might find someone in or around N. London. Cheers in advance. HDAV
PLenty of places that can do the job, I cant recommend anyone locally, UK Gun Repairs are in Somerset and do great work at very reasonable prices. Bound to be somewhere closer the Essex Mafia will probably point you in the right direction. You could take it to the Beretta gallery near St James's...... PhilR
There's Ladbroke & Langton at Hill Farm, Radlett - 01923 854639. Many gunshops who purport to do repairs send the guns to L&L anyway. They do all my 'smithing work and I'm happy to recommend them.

My 687 Silver Pigeon is 26 years old and ive put probably 50 - 60,000 carts through it and its as tight as the day i bought it. I had it serviced for the first time last year, cost me £80 and the report from the gun smith was that it was in perfect working order. Bagsy
I took my 682 Gold E into Essex Gun for a service. I think they charged about £40 which included lifting a dent out of the rib
Churchill
alexf Posted Today, 10:15 AM What's involved in a service? The way the service was explained to me was a full stripdown clean and inspection and replacement of worn / broken parts, and then it should be good for another 26 years.
