My dad had 2 bettinsolis, as far as Im concerned I think they are a reliable gun and don't break the bank. The only problem I didn't like about them is the safety on them. If you get a chance to see one you might know what I wean or you might like it! :good:

Hi

I had a bettinsolli diamond 12g they're alot of gun for the price i think i payed £600 for mine and i couldnt fault it. The only down side i had with mine was once i bought my new beretta the choking seemed alot better than the bettinsoli and the shot pattern more consistent other than that though i didnt have a problem.

Go for it you won’t be disappointed for the money I have had mine for about 10 years and my father has had his for around 15 years and they both have had a battering on the marshes and out in the pigeon fields, neither of them has let us down once.

Go for it fill your boots :good:

They have have been known to have reliability issues double discharging etc. always look nice but £600 I would spend elsewhere.

Have a search for a wider range of views.

I have had three bettinsolis they do have issues with the rebound springs, basically they are to strong and can cause miss fires a friend had to get his done last month, the last one i had the top barrel used to miss fire so had to get it done weaker springs sort out the problems but to be fair for the money there fine. :good:

Not sure about the rebound springs as they or at least mine is a mechanical reset, put safety caps in fire one barrel then the other so not recoil reset for second barrel

Had mine just over 2.5 years few thousand through it with no fauls, only seen two posts abouth firing both barrels at same time, both were old guns and myself seen far more expensive guns shoot both barrels in last few years so do not think a design fault by Bettinsoli

As far as I can see a good quality gun that probably equalls the lower end Browning's and Beretta's at near half the price, all that expensive marketing from the big two must be charged for by buyers

The job the rebound springs do are to ensure the pins retract back into the action to save catching the barrel when closing the gun.
