Anyone else making the trip? Lot of them are going to Rufforth for the All Round. Me and Chris are going to Kegworth if you fancy a change. I only seem to have done Shugborough this winter, so we're having a change

I've shot there twice, last time about 7 or 8 months ago and the targets were good, not great but nothing wrong with them. I've shot Kegworth 3 times in the last couple of months and in my opinion the targets were verging on first class, not perfect but certainly want me to ignore the poor facilities and go back for more. That being said I'm giving it a swerve tomorrow and going to Shugborough, not been there fore two months. Kegworth is on again in a fortnight and, weather permitting, I'll be doing that one. Let us know what you think of the targets at Kibworth (tell Anni that they pride themselves of the number and deceptiveness of their loopers) Potter PCS(retd)

Salopian
I was at Shuggy on Tuesday, a number of trees have been cut down and traps moved into interesting locations. I will be interested in how it goes under new ownership. The groundstaff certainly seem to have had an injection of enthusiasm

Always had some good, long targets bur they were repeated ad infinitum. I'm really looking forward to shooting it now. Potter

If you like planning ahead, I think the next two Sundays will probably be registered at Catton Hall next week, and Kegworth the week after Though I also fancy this new-look Shugborough, but we'll have plenty of opportunity for that, if they still do it fortnightly. DSPUK
Salopian was telling porky pies - been to Shug today and saw one tree cut down - very little change in targets. Started on stand 2 then walked to stand one - it's there I lost will to shoot - must have been 20+ waiting then it ran out of clays - at least 40 min I stood there.- good second bird -straight into the sun-- By now feet were cold - shot like a plonker till got to stand 8 - shot like an even bigger plonker and packed up and went home. Grrrrrr. dave
Salopian
If you can't see where the trees have been cut down, what chance is there of you seeing the clays
