BrowningDJC
Has anyone on here bought a set of the new grabber at's or anyone has any experience of them? Nearly due for a new set of tyres and although i really want a set of mud terrains, as my truck does a fair bit of road use an AT would be more sensible. Had a set of AT2's on my last mitsubishi but cant see how this new tread pattern will perfrom as well, yet they seem to get top reviews. I'd rather have opinions from people which use them everyday than from a magazine. Any opinions would be appreciated.

Radar_uk
Fitted a set on my Freelander 2, done about 6000 miles on them so far but that's mainly on road. No real difference in road noise or handling, economy unchanged and on the limited use they have had off road they seem far more capable than the stock tyres I had on before. Haven't tried the previous AT2's but like you say the reviews I have read are very good for the new AT's and know of a fair few of people on my Land Rover forum who are impressed with them so that was enough to sway me. Truflite
I had General Grabber AT2's, I put 22000 miles on them, a great tyre in the field and very good on the road, never want a generic tyre again. http://www.tyreshop.ie/uimg/1673817992.jpg I now run BF Goodrich A/T but they should really be called AT2 as they are great off road. (I only changed as I could not source General grabber as cheap as the BF Goodrich) Edited February 1, 2012 by Truflite

JR1960
GG ATs are a good tyre, not brilliant off-road but then they're only an All Terrain, they last well and they're well made, bit pricey maybe but you could do a lot worse. nathanhutchison
Ive got a set on my grand vitara and theyre great! Hardly ever have to use 4wd now, they seem to have improved my stopping distance on wet roads too (compared to duellers)

Fisheruk
I have Scorpion AT's on my Izusu. Similar tread to the Grabber. V good in the mud in low ratio.
