Hi Everyone

Before I waste my time trawling the internet and going to all the supposedly specialist 4x4 insurers i would like to know what sort of money people are paying on their trucks who might be in a similar situation to me. I have been wanting one for ages as people might have noticed on other posts but to be honest money is tight. Its not just an I want though as need it for towing a large trailer this year regularly and also started to do more and more logging (personal not as a business.) Long and short of it if its too much money i will be using a tractor for the logging which is cold and slow and just wont be able to do the trailer work.

- 23 years old

- 2nd car

- No NCD as used on other car

- Social and domestic no commuting

- About 1000-1500 worth of motor.

Thanks in advance everyone. Obviously i appreciate this is peoples private information but rough figures would be great. :)

I pay £140 fully comp on a 1979 series 3 109, no modifications, same sort of value as you're proposing, with restricted mileage (3000 a year), 2nd car parked on the drive, social use only, no NCD (I've only had a policy in my name as of this year, have held my licence for 9 years though), I'm 27. That was going through Adrian Flux, going through comparison websites gave similar quotes.

Hope that helps.
