Catweazle
They are available as direct screw-in replacements for factory chokes.
Iggy
I believe Teague make chokes to fit most brands, you just need to make sure you order the correct ones. What gun are they for?

BIG 5
Teague chokes are ok for clay shooting but look silly on a game gun. The only advantage of them is for quick changing your chokes without the need of a choke key. Make sure you order the ones to fit your gun as there are many types and sizes. I sold mine and shoot 1/4, 1/4 for everything and don't worry about technicalities to great effect.

I sold mine and shoot 1/4, 1/4 for everything and don't worry about technicalities to great effect. So how do the Teague chokes look silly on a game gun? The standard ones are direct replacement for manufacturer fitted, but you do need their choke key to tighten them. The knurled extended ones you don't need the choke key, as you can tighten them by hand which is very useful. I do however think the knurled part would be better in a 'blue'd' finish to blend in with the barrels rather than the shiny stainless steel finish. Nobody has told me mine look 'silly', in fact other guns who've enquired about them have been impressed with the system.
Hamster
Sorry but have to agree, maybe silly is a little unkind but nothing that sticks beyond the barrels themselves looks right really, even on a clay gun.
HDAV
It's fashion, O/U were a fad according to many! Teagues make flush and extended chokes so you have a choice I have quite used to my extended ones
PhilR
Sorry but have to agree, maybe silly is a little unkind but nothing that sticks beyond the barrels themselves looks right really, even on a clay gun. The point I was trying to make was that BIG 5 made a sweeping statement 'Teague chokes look silly on a game gun' that's not quite true is it? The flush direct replacements can't be seen any more than the manufacturer's original chokes. Edited February 5, 2012 by PhilR
