webber
I had to travel to Buxton today on business. The trip had been postponed a few times for various reasons, so having checked that the pass was clear before leaving, webbers wingman and I set off around 11am. On the return journey we stopped off at the Cat and Fiddle, Britains second highest Inn at 1690 Ft. The temperature gauge on the car read minus 3 Centigrade, but it felt much colder in the wind. We both enjoyed a roast pork sandwich, although the fire wasn't lit. Webbers Wingman tried out his new camera for the first time. webber http://www.maccinfo.com/cat/cat1.html Edited February 7, 2012 by webber

twitchynik
Is that pub around Tan Hill, or am I off on a wrong tack. Blackpowder Wrong tack. The Tan Hill Inn is up in the Yorkshire Dales. Cat Fiddle is in the Peak District.

yankeedoodlepigeon
Good job webber Hope all is well. average speed normally gets you from in front but no number plate on a bike but millions of Police with speed guns will, but not in the snow! webber
not any more it has average speed cameras on it. And if the signs are to be believed, police air craft checking the speed. The road is an interesting drive, and must be a thrill on a motorbike, but trecharous none the less. webber

I seem to recall the speed cameras were put in specifically for bikes so they do the the back end. Sadly last April I almost got taken out by a lady in a Toyota, missed me by about 20 foot and got my mate. That was a long lonely ride home.
