I thought that, so I had a look through to make sure I wasn't reposting, then got sidetracked. Really good article, advertised PW very nicely! Dunkield
Is it about Canada geese? I think 'Woodies on the web' would suggest it probably isn't Would the fact that no one mentioned it indicate declining magazine sales as other media formats slowly take over? richg
Spent two days at the show including a fair bit of time on the Shooting Times stand,i was hoping to meet some PW members but only met one all weekend (nice to meet you Bakerboy)i wore my badge and everything, maybe i wear the wrong deoderant. Anyway i helped write the article in ST and i thought it was pretty good and gives the site and our founder some good publicity, if some of you dont like ST thats fine, i do like it, its weekly and covers most of the things that i am interested in, If you dont like something, dont buy it, but please dont whinge about it. Blunderbuss
I didn't realise Teal was such a whippersnapper :o Does his Mum know he's out? Blunderbuss
I think 'Woodies on the web' would suggest it probably isn't A big downside with the mobile version of the forum. You can't read the thread sub title so can miss the whole gist of a thread

Rich g Richard [Gray] I presume..... Good for you - a great article and very informative - a number of people on our shoot have commented on it. I also think that Shooting Times is a good magazine. It cannot be easy putting a magazine out every week and they do a good job of putting together a diverse range of articles that should have something to interest most people most of the time. However, and like many others I am sure, it will be hard to fill the gap left by the late John Humphreys - maybe this is something that you can "grow into". I dread to think what the whingers would come up with if they were tasked to produce a weekly magazine - I would not hold my breath.... Blunderbuss
I like shooting times. I don't expect much of it, except a light read and welcome midweek reminder of a weekends shooting ahead.

-Mongrel-
I too buy it, once again it's not the heaviest of reading but that's fine, if I want in depth there's plenty on the web or I could even buy a book! It's only £2.30 I think, so hardly a budget buster either, decent value in my opinion.

PhilR
Hi Rich, I bought the mag yesterday. Well done it's an interesting read and has bought PW to a wider audience, I wonder whether the influx of new members will increase because of it. Are you still submitting articles to Sporting Gun? Have not written for Sporting Gun for a while, Shooting Times treats me well so i stick with them. I only write for fun. I get a lot of pleasure reading about how everyone else gets on as well as adding my 10 penorth. Regards Richard
