grantellissheffield
but you dont see anything from above co its so thin. they should have them side by side and fit together at the top if you get what i mean like a upside down v shape then they would be better i suppose

Fisherman Mike
To a Human they look like Decoys...to a real bird they will look like decoys, to a real pigeon they will look like cardboard cut outs.
caeser
Any links as to where to get them from? I know who does sell them. £36 for 12. Personally I think thats a bit steep. When you can get 12 shells for about £25. They should be about £1.00 each at the most I reckon. (Pm me if you want to know where to get them from) Edited March 7, 2012 by caeser

CZ550Kevlar
Personally speaking i`m starting to have less and less faith in decoys, especially due to the prices they are charging, fuds £26 for 6, pro decoys £35 for 5 i mean geez how can they justify it?? it`s not like it`s space age material. I don't believe pigeons sight is as sharp as many believe. I look above my hide to spot incoming pigeons. I always see them, they don't see me. And i would put money on those decoys working just fine.

caeser
Hi caeser being a newbie to pigeons which decoys do you use and prefer as at the minute i have to replace most of my gear due to stupidly storing it in the shed and my gear got pinched was looking at fuds :o looking forward to some words of wisdom Hi Will, Personally I have been using just normal high detailed shells, that I've had since probably when they first came out. I've got a few full bodied ones, that I use dotted about in the pattern or sat on top of hedges ,or lofted. I did have until recently a load of sportplast flexicoys, which I used a lot with the shells too, but they have perished away over the years. So I've just ordered a load of prodecoys, not received then as yet, but I'm sure they'll be ok. I think the fuds look great, but my only concern was the way they stick in the ground, or I would have bought them. Just my personal preferences thats all. I don't really think any particular type is head and shoulders above the rest. Just get yourself in the right place on the right day, and any decoys will do , I reckon. caeser
These are them against a green background taken last year in my garden. Compaired to fuds on rape in the second picture To be fair, the lighting is different, the background is different, and the angle is slightly different too, so I don't really think its a 100% true comparison. In my opinion, they would both have to be compared in exactly the same conditions, to give an accurate comparison.
Farmer70
I won't be rushing out to get these cardboard cut outs, I'l stick to shells and full bodies these work well for me.
