My Springer is home

Recommended Posts

Some of you know the story behind my Springer, Joe, for those of you who dont;

My oldest boy has a friend that has some sever medical challanges. This Lad never really got close to too many things. Well when he would come over he liked to sit in the dog yard while I did chores, and see the dogs. He didn't really want to play with them but just to see them. The day I cut Joe out of the kennels when he was there, the dog jumped up on the training table where the lad was sitting and curled up in his lap turning himself inside out just to be touching him. It was so bad that he would not come when I called him and I had to get the lad to re kennel him when they were through.

Talking to his mother a couple of days later and she told me that Joe was all that had been talked about and she was going to kill me :unsure: ;):good: . She asked if she could buy him and I had to say no. But what I did a half hour after she left was drive Joe to there house and give him to her son.

I did attach one stipulation though, I got to come and get him during hunting season once or twice so that I could take him out in the field still. Well they are away on vacation this week so Joe has come to stay for a week of fun. So Here he is, one of the best bred springers that I have ever owned....JOEY

That has to be one of the biggest acts of kindness i've heard lately. NTTF to give away a dog which you have trained and seems that you liked a lot, well not many people would do the same! :unsure: ;):good::sly:

Well done you are as kind man! :yes::lol::lol::no::P
